Dr. R. E. (Mickey) Moriarty, Pastor
Dr. Moriarty brings over 40 years in ministry to Community Baptist Church having served as pastor of 3 other churches in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex...Bear Creek Baptist Church in Glenn Heights, Grace Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, and First Baptist Church, Lancaster. He came to CBC as Interim Pastor in 2003 and was called as pastor in that same year. He received his education at Texas Wesleyan University and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and recieved the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Theological University of America in New Orleans, La. He has been married to his wife Judy for 42 years. They have two daughters, Dawn and Melissa, and five grandchildren. Bro. Mickey, as he prefers to be called and Judy make their home in Ovilla, Texas.
