Dr. R. E. (Mickey) Moriarty, Pastor

Dr. Moriarty brings over 40 years in ministry to Community Baptist Church having served as pastor of 3 other churches in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex...Bear Creek Baptist Church in Glenn Heights, Grace Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, and First Baptist Church, Lancaster.   He came to CBC as Interim Pastor in 2003 and was called as pastor in that same year. He received his education at Texas Wesleyan University and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and received the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Theological University of America in New Orleans, La. He has been married to his wife Judy for 45 years. They have two daughters, Dawn and Melissa, and five grandchildren. Bro. Mickey, as he prefers to be called and Judy make their home in Ovilla, Texas.
 

Jace Haile, Youth Pastor

Jace Haile brings several years of experience as an interim Youth Pastor to Community Baptist Church. He came to CBC as Youth Pastor in October of 2011 from the First Baptist Church of Santo. Jace received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University and will be attending Seminary in the spring. He has brought great ideas and programs for the youth group here with many more to come.

Cleda Mathews, Financial Ministry Assistant

Cleada is a charter member of Community Baptist Church. She and Don make their home in Red Oak.
